My work

I am happy to offer you formats in the areas of facilitation/moderation, coaching, training or consulting – for individuals as well as teams, large groups, networks or entire organisations. My focus is always on creating spaces for learning and development, offering formats for exchange and dialogue, and embarking on a journey towards development, innovation and transformation together with my partners. All services are available both on-site and online.

Facilitation

For me, facilitation means accompanying group processes of all kinds – from team development to large group events and conferences to change processes in companies. Facilitation is often referred to as process support. It includes the moderation of events, but goes far beyond that, as it also encompasses the conception, implementation and sustainable safeguarding of the overall process.

The word facilitation comes from the Latin adjective ‘facilis’, meaning ‘easy’. As a facilitator, I stand for lightness and ease in the process. I make it easier for my clients and all those involved to find solutions to their concerns. I create opportunities and accompany them on their journey. Together, we create spaces – for development, for change, for consolidation, for dialogue, and for participation. Together, we bring new ideas into the world and anchor them in ways that allow them to have lasting impact. With me, your process is in good hands.

Coaching

In my work, coaching refers to one-on-one sessions both in personal and professional contexts. I coach on site, online and in natural outdoor settings. My coaching approach is systemic and influenced by Viktor Frankl's logotherapy/existential analysis as well as Gestalt therapy.

I additionally use elements of nature coaching and embodiment approaches. I have completed several coaching certifications, pursue ongoing professional development every year and undergo continuous supervision.

Coaching concerns and topics

In a professional context, my coaching is aimed at specialists and leaders. Some hold formal (disciplinary) leadership responsibilities, while others lead teams, networks or cooperation systems without an official mandate. I also coach individuals who aspire to leadership positions or who are navigating other transitions in their lives. Supporting women in leadership is a key focus of my work. I provide support in all matters relating to leadership: How do I become a leader? How do I lead as a young leader? How do I deal with diversity and new generations of employees as an experienced leader? How do I manage conflicts, change processes and resistance? How do I guide my team from hierarchical to agile leadership and collaboration? How do I lead in international contexts?
 
Private clients come to me to address life challenges, to face major questions in life, to grow and to (re)orient themselves. Typical questions clients bring include: What is my next step in life? Should I pursue professional development, and what is the best way to do so? How do I discover my vocation? What is my potential, and how can I unfold it? How do I navigate this life crisis? How can I deal with fear, uncertainty, and stress, and how can I strengthen my resilience? How can I improve my self-leadership? How can I enhance my self- and time-management?

Leadership development

For many years, I have been designing and facilitating training programmes on the topic of leadership for companies and organisations. Leadership encompasses both self-leadership and leading of and with others.

Strengthening resilience is becoming increasingly important. The target groups include leaders with formal leadership responsibilities as well as professionals who lead without formal authority - whether in agile systems or within networks and multi-stakeholder processes.

In these training formats, I draw on more than 25 years of experience as a trainer, my own leadership activities, my academic background and numerous further training qualifications. In dialogue with the client and the target group, I identify the key concerns, expectations, and challenges and design a format that fits their needs. The focus is always on addressing the individual challenges that the (prospective) leaders bring with them. The learning group serves both as a resource and as a practice field; all training courses are designed to be interactive, practice-oriented and solution-focused.

Virtual and hybrid events

I offer all my services on-site, online and in a hybrid format. Many of my clients have been collaborating virtually for a long time, and since the Covid-19 pandemic, hybrid working has become the new reality for almost all of them.

I provide training courses on virtual and hybrid leadership, have transformed various programmes into virtual formats, and have worked together with clients to redesign a multi-month academy spanning several time zones into a fully online setting. From small groups to large-scale events with several hundred participants – far more is possible in virtual and hybrid formats than many initially expect.

Consulting

Consulting is often the umbrella term for my work – I am booked as a consultant for various challenges. Here, however, I am referring specifically to the content-related consulting services I offer.

I have conducted research on behalf of organisations, developed professional development concepts, designed training approaches, transformed trainings and multi-year programmes from in-person formats into online or hybrid formats, and authored methodological handbooks.
